Why We Should Be Content

Hello!


I just thought I would write about something that I should strive to do better in every day. Being content!


Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.


1 Timothy 6:8
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.




Hebrews 13:5
Let your conversation be without covetousness;And be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I like Philippians 4:11 because it means weather you are the richest person in the world or the poorest you are to be satisfied with you have.


I like 1 Timothy 6:8 because it means that you do not have to have riches and luxuries to be content, you should be content if all you had was food and clothing.


I like Hebrews 13:5 because it means that you should not talk of wanting something that other people have .Thou shalt not covet is one of the commandments in Exodus 20. It means that you should not think or talk of wanting something that someone else has,and be happy with what you have.No buts or ifs.


  If everyone was content with what they have, everybody would be a lot happier!!
