Fried Bananas

Hi! Just thought I would post a recipe about bananas that I tried for the first time this morning.

8 Very ripe large plantain bananas
16 Small red bananas
about 1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup orange juice
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp cinnamon
yoghurt for topping (optional)

Peel bananas and cut lengthwise. Saute in batches in olive oil , transferring with a slotted spoon to a 9 by 13 pan. Make a mixture of orange juice, honey and cinnamon. Pour over the bananas and bake at 300 degrees for about 15 minutes. Serve in bowls plain or with yoghurt.
